Sheriff Sales

• Sheriff Sales are Held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 am in the Lobby outside of the Sheriffs Office in the city county building at 501  E. Court Ave., Jeffersonville.  

• Anyone bidding on property must bring a letter of Available Funds  from your Local bank to John Hawkins at the Sheriffs Office. 

• The letter must state the amount of money that is available to you in your Checking Account not a Savings account. That tells me how much you can bid on the Property for sale. 

• The person that places the highest bid for the property must pay into the Sheriffs Office the day of the sale, the full amount that was bid on the property. The  check must be on a Local Indiana Bank. 

• If you are looking for a specific address, if it is not on this list then I don't have any paper

                  work or information about it. This is not considered a Legal Listing. It is not required by Law 

                  that this list of Properties is to be Published on this site. I only put this list here as a Courtesy

                  if your Property is not on this list it does not mean your property is not being foreclosed on.
