Dedicated men and women wanting to serve the community have a great opportunity with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
Reserve Officers are authorized by the Sheriff to enforce the law. Reserve officers complete a 40 hour Basic Academy here in Clark County before moving into the field. Officers continue to receive training throughout their career with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
The dedicated members of this unit receive professional training and authority from the sheriff to enforce laws and help people in need. They offer their services in the areas of administration, Horse Patrol, K-9 , patrol, training, special events, river patrol, air-unit, transport division and also at the jail.
