Civilians staff members assist the agency in a variety of functions including but not limited to:

  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age on or before the date of employment.
  • Must not have a recorded felony conviction.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have earned a high school diploma or GED.

Salary Information

The starting pay for Civilian staff members is $33,250.00

The Clark County Sheriff's Office offers full medical and dental insurance to employees.


Clark County Government employees are eligible to receive free concierge, primary care medical services at BluMine Health Care Centers. Our experienced Nurse Practitioners provide you, your spouse and your eligible dependents (ages 2-26 and if still considered a dependent), comprehensive, front-line primary care with no copays and no deductibles. Services include annual physicals and screenings, sick visits, basic lab work, chronic condition management, weight management and more.  


Must be enrolled in county health insurance plan.

Former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel was sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to 27 felony charges in Clark County Circuit Court.
