VISITATION

Video visitation must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. (appointments only)

Register at:  www.jailatm.com or call 866-340-7879  

 

Video visits are available from:  

  • Monday - Friday  9:30am-7:00pm 
  • Saturday & Sunday 9:00am to 12:00pm 


*You need to be registered with a valid State ID to schedule a video visit.  

*Bring your valid State ID to check in on the day of the video visit. 

Clark County Jail Visitation Rules

On-Site Video Visits

1. Visitors may schedule visitation times through www.jailatm.com or by calling 1-866-340-7879. 

Visits must be scheduled 24 (twenty-four) hours in advance of the visit. 


2. Visits are held bi-weekly to permit inmates to visit with family and friends. 


3. Visits are restricted to family members and friends. Visits will be a minimum of 15 minutes. 


4. Visits may be monitored/recorded by Jail Staff. 


5. All visitors will enter the building through the main entrance. 


6. All visitors are required to show proof of their identity. 


7. All visitors are required to maintain control of their personal property (coats, hats, etc.) or store such items in their vehicles prior to entering the facility. 


8. Visitors are prohibited to enter the facility with any personal items not essential for medical care or visitation requirements. i.e. ID, vehicle keys, diaper bag. The Jail will not hold personal items for visitors. 


9. Visitors may be scanned by a metal detector wand and/or subject to a physical search if the Jail Staff determines it necessary. 


10. A visitor register shall be kept which contains: 

  • a. Name and driver’s license number of the visitor. 
  • b. Time and date visit begins and ends. 
  • c. Name of the inmate to be visited. 


11. Visitors may be denied for, but not limited to: 

  • a. Unacceptable attire; 
  • b. Disruptive behavior; 
  • c. Failure to control minor children; 
  • d. Failure to provide picture identification as established by jail policy; 
  • e. Visitors with a prior criminal conviction within one year of the visit; 
  • f.  Intoxication or otherwise uncooperative; 
  • g. Visitors who are on probation/parole; or 
  • h. Visitors who are on work release or home detention. 
  • i.  Minors not accompanied by a parent or guardian. 
  • j.  Visitors with a history of introducing or attempting to introduce contraband or prohibited property into the facility. 
  • k. Visitors/inmates discussing any illegal activity or violation of jail rules. 


12. Inmates and visitors will conduct themselves appropriately at all times. If an inmate or visitor does not conduct himself or herself properly, the Jail Staff will discontinue the visit and ask the visitors to leave. 


13. Visitors must be dressed in an appropriate manner. Attire shall be sensible in nature and not cause contention among jail staff and other visitors. Unacceptable attire includes (but is not limited to): 

  • a. Any article of clothing deemed to be profane, visually offensive, or of sexual description or innuendoes, 
  • b. Clothing made of transparent material, 
  • c. Gang related clothing/signing. 


14. All visitors will leave the visiting area when told to do so by the Jail Staff. Visitors are not allowed to enter any other area in the facility unless under escort by a Corrections Officer. 


15. The Jail Staff shall ensure visitors to leave the jail through the main entrance when visits are completed unless there is a reason to do otherwise. 

Off-Site Video Visits

1. Off-site video visits may be purchased and scheduled through www.jailatm.com or by calling 

1-866-340-7879. Visits must be scheduled 24 (twenty-four) hours in advance of the visit.


2. Visits are unrestricted in frequency.


3. Visits will be a minimum of 15 minutes per singular visit.


4. Visits may be monitored/recorded by Jail Staff.


5. A visitor register shall be kept which contains:

  • a. Name and driver’s license number of the visitor.
  • b. Time and date visit begins and ends.
  • c. Name of the inmate to be visited.


6. Visitors may be denied for, but not limited to:

  • a. Unacceptable attire;

  • c. Intoxication or otherwise uncooperative;
